ROGER GPS repeater provides instant GPS service indoors. It extends the use of any GPS device inside buildings and locations that otherwise would be blocked from GPS signals.



ROGER GPS repeater operates by receiving GPS satellite signals with an antenna located outside the building and re-radiating the signals to the indoor area or covered space. Use of re-radiated signals means that GPS receiver is tracking the current GPS status meaning that when a GPS receiver is moved from covered area to outdoors, the receiver is instantly tracking the location instead of time consuming acquisition of GPS data. ROGER GPS repeater cannot be used for indoor navigation since the receiver will always give the position of the outdoor antenna instead of the real position.

		Car parks, car rental Enables car GPS receivers to be online even when the car is parked where no satellite signal can be received.

Emergency & safety vehicles Enables emergency vehicles to have their GPS receiver locked to satellites at all times. By this any cold start navigation gaps will be avoided.

		Stores, trade shows Enable real time GPS demonstrations in stores or exhibitions. It is also ideal for GPS receiver service centres.

Public transportation Enables use of GPS mobile phones and PDAs in public transportations such as buses, trains or passenger ships.

In the case of an emergency, the RevGeoGate service resolves the GPS coordinates of the EC7000 into actual street names and thereby sends the position of the phone to the three set emergency text message numbers by text message. With RevGeoGate Cell ID feature a rough location will be returned in a matter of seconds, until the GPS is ready to provide the accurate position.
